Holiday Inn Prague Airport, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well run. The breakfast bar was exceptional in the quantity and variety of food it offered. The airport check-in was within walking distance of the hotel, or for a small fee you can sign up to take a van to or from the airport. There is also the option of a public bus that comes about every half hour.

The hotel is at an excellent choice for anyone who needs to catch an early morning flight or needs to sleep somewhere after a late night flight before continuing their travels the next day. The shuttle service is great and reliable, and the shuttle is fully electric, so good for the environment too. The rooms were a decent size, with lots of storage space and very comfortable and sturdy beds, with soft mattresses. It's not possible to open the hotel windows, but the AC worked well. Bottled water and tea/coffee were provided in the room next to the kettle. Ironing board and iron were also in the room in case someone needs it. The bathroom was nice, although I'd prefer having more space in the shower, it's just the basic cubicle shower there. Shampoo, shower gel and soap by the sink were all Dove, which was a great surprise, it's one of my favourite brands. There was a hair dryer provided as well. Check in and check out were fast and easy. There's a restaurant and a bar downstairs where you can sit down in the evenings. If you feel like having a take-out, lots of restaurants deliver to this location, the app I used for that was called "Dame Jidlo", it works in English and is easy to use, very similar to Deliveroo or Just Eat. All staff was very nice, kind, and helpful. Bus stop is right outside the hotel if needed. Overall I had a great experience at this hotel, and would definitely use it again if I needed to sleep in Prague near the airport.

The location is great if you fly in late and you want to rest up before you head into the city to your primary hotel/apartment. It’s also ideal if you’re leaving early in the morning. The restaurant and bar are priced similarly to what you’ll find in the Old Town and the food is good. I walked to and from but it’s probably closer to 1km. instead of the 400 meters quoted. It’s somewhat tricky to locate so it’s best to have a map on your phone. They have a shuttle also.

Spacious, carpeted room with plenty of shelves and storage. Proper clothes hangers that detach from rail. Hospitality tray with coffee and tea, no biscuits. Fridge, no mini-bar items. Big wall mounted TV screen. Good lighting in room. Nice bedding. Sockets close to bed and desk. Big wall mirror, also with socket close by, convenient for hair-styling. Blackout curtains. Safe in wardrobe, big enough to store a laptop. Radiator which you can regulate yourself, gets nice and hot. Nice spacious bathroom with excellent lighting and shelving. Towel rail which you can switch on/off yourself. No toiletries but 3 big dispensers of Dove Hand wash, Body wash and Shampoo. Nice walk in shower with overhead shower as well as handheld. Hairdryer with three settings. Soft closing WC lid. Shuttle bus (on demand) worked without problems. No noise from airport at all despite its close proximity.
